It is the intent of the University Center at Everett Station (UCES) to remain
open and operational. The center is affiliated with Everett Community College
(EvCC) and will cancel classes and close offices if severe weather or other
emergency conditions on the EvCC campus are determined to be unsafe.
EvCC provides prompt Emergency Closure Information to local radio and television
stations, and posts this information on the EvCC website, the 24-hour information
line, switchboard, and division office notifications. If Everett Community College
is not mentioned in the radio/TV announcements, students and staff should assume
that UCES is open and classes are being held as usual.
Notification of EvCC's closure will be made:
- online through the Public Schools Emergency Communication System (PSECS)
at www.schoolreport.org
- linked to the EvCC website under 'Emergency closure and weather information'
on the Everett Community College home
page
- by message on the main phone line at 425-388-9100.
